My Son’s New Obsession: Buying the iBex YELLOW SCOPE 480X Microscope from KoodakPlace.ir

Hi fellow parents and science-loving families! I’m a mom of a super-curious 9-year-old boy who’s absolutely obsessed with experiments and discovering tiny things. He’s been begging for a “real” microscope ever since his school started the science unit and they talked about cells. So I decided it was time to surprise him with something educational that’s actually fun.

I googled “kids microscope 480X” and stumbled upon KoodakPlace.ir (also known as Koodak Police). They had the iBex YELLOW SCOPE 480X Student Microscope listed with great photos and detailed specs: 100-480X continuous zoom, built-in LED light, monocular, safe for kids 8+, made of non-toxic ABS plastic. Price was 32,301,000 IRR – pretty much the same as big marketplaces, but they offered official invoice and 7-day return guarantee.

Ordered on a Tuesday, package arrived Friday via Post (I’m in Tehran). Box was a bit dented on one corner (minor shipping issue), but everything inside was perfect: microscope, blank slides, prepared slides, cover slips, tweezers, 2× AA batteries, and a dust cover. I messaged their Telegram support just to check – they replied in 5 minutes and offered free replacement if anything was wrong. Great service!

Now the best part – my son’s reaction! He literally screamed “MOM THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!” when he saw the bright yellow and black design. We immediately tested it with onion skin, a strand of hair, and some pond water from the park. The image quality blew us away – we could clearly see cell walls and even tiny moving organisms at 480X. The LED light is bright enough for night experiments, and the focus knob is easy enough for his little hands.

Pros:

• European brand (iBex) with real optical quality
• Lightweight (only 500 g) – he carries it everywhere
• Comes with everything you need to start right away
• Official invoice + 7-day return policy gave me peace of mind

Cons:

• Product page could use more real-life photos through the lens (would’ve been helpful before buying)
• Box arrived slightly damaged (but contents 100 % safe)

Overall, totally worth every rial. My little scientist now spends hours hunting for “specimens” in the backyard and even made a mini lab on his desk. If your kid is into STEM or you’re looking for a meaningful birthday gift, I highly recommend the iBex YELLOW SCOPE 480X from KoodakPlace.ir.
